For many children in Zambia, a holiday is a foreign idea. The capacity for families to take even a small holiday is non-existent. In fact, leaving the surroundings of their own community is a dream often never realised. For 30 children each year this dream becomes a reality. Leaving Ndola in the early hours of the morning, the children and leaders reach Livingstone just before nightfall after a long, but expectant, 12 hour (plus) bus trip.
Over the next seven days, children and leaders create memories and enjoy many adventures together. These include experiencing Victoria Falls, visiting a Crocodile Park, enjoying a river cruise on the Zambezi and spotting animals in the Mosi-O-Tunya National Park. Time spent together builds unforgettable friendships between all involved. The transformation in both leaders and children is significant: Giving and investing into the lives of children who have suffered much gives leaders new perspectives. Eyes opened to hope - hearing and seeing the Good News played out in word and deed - impacts children for eternity. To view our Camp Program video click here
